Filmmaker first.
Director, editor, writer, producer, and occasional wearer of most of the other hats required to finish the movie.
I’m a filmmaker based in Los Angeles. I tend to work across the whole life of a project, from shaping the idea and directing actors through editing, music, finishing and delivery.
I’m especially interested in independent filmmaking: making something personal, specific and watchable without pretending there are unlimited resources.
The job titles change from project to project. The through-line is making movies.
